A Japan NPB regular season baseball game between the Chunichi Dragons and Tokyo Yakult Swallows scheduled for July 22, 2026. The outcome will be determined by which team wins the game played at the scheduled time.
Resolution is based on the final result of the Chunichi Dragons vs Tokyo Yakult Swallows Japan NPB game originally scheduled for July 22, 2026 at 5:00 AM EDT. If the game is postponed or delayed, the market remains open and closes after the rescheduled game concludes within two days. Should the game be cancelled or rescheduled beyond two days, the market resolves to a fair price per official rules. In the event of a tie, the market resolves to 50/50.
Prediction markets and sportsbooks price outcomes differently because they serve different purposes. Sportsbooks set odds to balance action and lock in profit margins, while prediction markets reflect pure trader belief—there is no house edge. This market aggregates thousands of independent forecasts, often surfacing information faster than traditional oddsmakers adjust. Comparing the two can reveal where public opinion diverges from bookmaker pricing, though both move as new information emerges.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through a continuous order-book mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing each outcome. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each share reflects the market's collective probability estimate, ranging from 0 to 100 cents. As new trades execute, prices adjust instantly, and you can place limit or market orders to enter or exit your position at any time before the market closes.
This market resolves around Jul 22, 2026, once the game concludes and the result is verifiable from credible public reporting. The outcome will reflect the final score and official game result as recorded by the relevant sports authority. Until that time, prices will continue to fluctuate based on pre-game analysis, team news, and trader positioning.
Key catalysts include injury announcements, lineup changes, recent team performance trends, and head-to-head historical matchups. Weather conditions and home-field advantage can also shift trader sentiment. Breaking news about player availability or coaching decisions often triggers sharp price moves. As game time nears, late-breaking information—such as last-minute roster updates or betting-market shifts—may accelerate repricing. Monitor sports news outlets and team social channels for developments that could reshape expectations.
