Generally, prediction market odds often reflect a wisdom-of-the-crowd effect, potentially offering different insights than traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and aim to balance action on both sides, while this market is driven purely by traders expressing their beliefs. Discrepancies can arise due to differing information, biases, or simply the dynamics of each venue. It's common to see prediction markets incorporate information more quickly than sportsbooks, especially regarding impactful news or developments affecting team performance.
