This event group contains a critical data integrity failure: Polymarket describes a match between Chongqing Tonglianglong FC and Tianjin Jinmen Hu FC scheduled for June 27, 2026, while Kalshi describes a FIFA World Cup match between Congo DR and Uzbekistan on the same date. These are completely different sporting events, making unified resolution impossible.
In the upcoming match between Chongqing Tonglianglong FC and Tianjin Jinmen Hu FC, scheduled for June 27, 2026 at 8:00 AM ET: This market will resolve to "Chongqing Tonglianglong FC" if Chongqing Tonglianglong FC are the first to score within the first 90 minutes of regular play plus stoppage time. This market will resolve to "Tianjin Jinmen Hu FC" if Tianjin Jinmen Hu FC are the first to score within the first 90 minutes of regular play plus stoppage time. If neither team scores within the first 90 minutes of regular play plus stoppage time, this market will resolve "Neither". If the game is postponed, this market will remain open until the game has been completed. If the game is canceled entirely, with no make-up game, this market will resolve to "Neither". This market refers only to the outcome within the first 90 minutes of regular play plus stoppage time. Extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome.
Resolution is based on which team records the first goal during the entire match, including regulation, stoppage time, and any extra time periods. If the first goal is an own goal, the market resolves based on the team awarded the goal. If no team scores throughout the entire match, the no goal market resolves to Yes.
Polymarket and Kalshi can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. Each platform attracts different trader demographics, regulatory frameworks, and liquidity pools. Polymarket may see heavier volume from one geographic region or trader type, while Kalshi draws a different crowd. Order-book depth, fee structures, and platform-specific incentives also shape pricing. These differences typically narrow as traders arbitrage between venues, but temporary gaps can persist if one platform has fresher information or lower trading friction. Monitoring both helps you spot mispricings and understand where smart money is positioning.
Team news—injuries to key strikers or defensive starters—can shift odds significantly. Lineup announcements closer to kickoff often trigger repricing as traders update their models. Weather conditions, pitch quality, and referee assignments may also influence early-game tempo and scoring likelihood. Pre-match momentum, recent form, and head-to-head history drive baseline positioning. Social media sentiment and late-breaking tactical changes can spark volatility in final hours. Monitor official team channels and sports news feeds for updates that could swing trader conviction before the opening whistle.
