In the upcoming FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup game between China PR and Spain, scheduled for September 13, 2026 at 9:00 AM ET: This market will resolve based on the final score of the China PR vs. Spain match originally scheduled for September 13, 2026 at 9:00 AM ET, considering only the result at the end of 90 minutes of regulation plus stoppage time; extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the actual score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Often, prediction market odds reflect a wisdom-of-the-crowd effect, potentially differing from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and need to account for profit margins, while this market is driven purely by traders’ willingness to buy or sell. If a significant discrepancy exists, arbitrage opportunities may arise, where traders can profit by simultaneously betting on both platforms. However, it’s important to remember that both represent probabilities of an outcome, and neither is guaranteed to be accurate.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism. Traders buy and sell shares representing different exact scores, and the price of each share reflects the market’s collective belief about the probability of that score occurring. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price fluctuates based on supply and demand; if more people buy shares of a particular outcome, its price increases, and vice-versa. This dynamic pricing ensures that the market reflects the most up-to-date information and opinions of all participants.
This market resolves around Sep 13, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final, official score of the China vs. Spain match will be used to determine the winning shares. Resolution will occur after the completion of the game and the official result is widely available. Traders holding shares in the correct exact score will be entitled to a payout, while those holding shares in incorrect outcomes will receive nothing.
Several factors could influence this market before the game is played. Any news regarding key player injuries or suspensions for either China or Spain would likely cause significant shifts in the odds. Changes in team form, tactical adjustments, or even weather conditions could also impact trader sentiment. Unexpected announcements about team lineups or changes in coaching strategies could also move the market. Public opinion and analysis from sports commentators might also play a role, though the market’s movements are ultimately driven by trading activity.
