On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism. Traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the likelihood of each outcome. As more shares are traded, the price of each share adjusts to reflect the collective opinion of the market participants. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price movement is driven by supply and demand; if many traders believe China will win the second half, the price of shares representing that outcome will increase, and vice versa. This creates a dynamic pricing system that continuously updates as new information emerges.
This market resolves around Sep 10, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The result will be determined by the official score of the second half of the China vs. Nigeria match. The platform will rely on official sources to determine the winner or if the second half ends in a draw. Traders who correctly predicted the outcome will be entitled to a payout based on the final market prices at the time of resolution.
Several factors could influence trading activity and move this market before resolution. Any news regarding team injuries, changes in player lineups, or tactical adjustments announced by either team could significantly impact expectations. Unexpected weather conditions during the match could also play a role. Furthermore, in-game events during the first half, such as early goals or red cards, will likely cause rapid shifts in the odds on Polymarket as traders react to the unfolding action and reassess the probabilities of different outcomes.
