Description

This market focuses on determining which team will score more runs in the first inning of an upcoming baseball game. It provides a quick snapshot of early-game performance, highlighting the offensive strength of each team right from the start.

Kalshi

The market resolves based on the number of runs scored by each team specifically during the first inning of the designated game. If Chicago White Sox score more runs than Cleveland in the first inning, the 'Chicago WS wins 1st inning' market resolves to Yes. Conversely, if Cleveland scores more runs than Chicago in that inning, the 'Cleveland wins 1st inning' market resolves to Yes. Should both teams score an equal number of runs, the 'Tie 1st inning' market resolves to Yes. If the game is called or suspended before the completion of the first inning, all markets resolve to a Fair Price. Only runs scored within the first inning are considered; later inning performance does not affect the outcome. Kalshi clarifies it has no official affiliation with the governing league, and all trademarks remain property of their respective owners.
