The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome.

Prediction market odds and sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and lock in profit margins, while prediction markets aggregate the beliefs of many independent traders competing for accuracy. This market's odds may move faster or slower than traditional sportsbook lines depending on trader conviction and liquidity. Comparing the two can reveal where professional oddsmakers and decentralized traders disagree on the likely outcome, though both aim to price the true probability of each exact score.
This market resolves around Jul 18, 2026, once the Chicago Stars and Angel City FC match concludes and the final score is verified. The outcome is confirmed against credible public reporting of the official result. Until that point, traders can continue to buy and sell shares based on their expectations. Resolution is binary for each exact score outcome—either the final scoreline matches the outcome description or it does not.
Team news, lineup announcements, and injury updates can shift probabilities significantly, especially for key players on either side. Weather conditions and venue factors may influence scoring patterns. Recent form, head-to-head history, and tactical adjustments revealed in pre-match press conferences often trigger trading activity. As kickoff approaches, late-breaking developments—such as unexpected absences or tactical surprises—can cause sharp repricing. Live trading during the match itself will also reflect real-time events, though this market settles only on the final score.
