Description

In a professional MLS soccer match between Chicago Fire and Portland, the first half will determine which team scores more goals in the initial 45 minutes plus any added stoppage time. If neither team scores or they score equally, the result is a tie.

Kalshi

The market resolves based on the winner of the first half in the Chicago Fire vs Portland professional MLS soccer game scheduled for Aug 16, 2026. If Chicago Fire scores more goals than Portland in the first half (including stoppage time), that market resolves to Yes. If Portland scores more goals, its market resolves to Yes. If both teams score the same number of goals, or no goals are scored, the Tie market resolves to Yes. If the game is cancelled or rescheduled to over 48 hours away from the original date, the market will resolve to a fair price.
