Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks often set initial lines based on statistical models and expert analysis, while this market incorporates the collective predictions of many individuals. If a significant discrepancy exists, it may indicate that prediction market participants have access to information or insights not yet fully factored into sportsbook lines. It’s common to see prediction markets move more efficiently as new information becomes available, potentially offering a different perspective on the likely outcome than traditional betting venues.
On Predict, this market is priced through a continuous order book where traders buy and sell contracts representing each possible outcome. The price of each contract fluctuates based on supply and demand, reflecting the collective belief of traders regarding the probability of that outcome. On Predict, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more people trade, the price converges towards what the market believes is the true probability. The current price represents the implied probability of a team scoring first, and traders aim to profit by identifying discrepancies between their own assessment and the market price.
This market resolves around Sep 13, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting.
