The markets resolve based on whether designated Chicago Cubs players record a specified number of total bases during the game. If a player is not in the starting lineup, is scratched, or does not record a plate appearance, the market resolves to the fair market price. Pinch-hit at-bats do not count toward the total bases. Only players who are in the starting lineup and record at least one plate appearance contribute to the settlement, which is determined solely by the total bases they achieve during their official at-bats.
