Description

Each market focuses on whether a designated player hits a certain number of home runs during the match. The outcome depends solely on the player's performance in terms of home runs, provided they meet participation criteria.

Kalshi

The event resolves based on whether specified players record a defined number of home runs (1+ or 2+) in the Chicago Cubs vs Kansas City Royals game scheduled for August 8, 2026. Each market corresponds to a different player and home run threshold. If a player is scratched, not in the starting lineup, or fails to record a plate appearance, the market resolves at the fair market price. Pinch-hit at-bats do not count. Markets settle based on home runs recorded only if the player appears in the starting lineup and has at least one plate appearance.
