On Polymarket, this market is priced through trader bets that reflect recent form and head-to-head history, while Predict may weight different data inputs. Polymarket and Predict can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. Bookmakers and prediction markets can also adjust for liquidity gaps or differing user bases, leading to varied implied probabilities. The way each platform handles trading fees and order types can further influence price discovery. As a result, even when tracking the same Chesterfield vs. Barnet second half market, the two venues might show divergent odds based on their unique market structures and participant behavior.
