In the upcoming FA Cup game between Chesham United FC and Ware FC, scheduled for September 19, 2026 at 10:00 AM ET: This market will resolve based on the final score of the Chesham United FC vs. Ware FC match originally scheduled for September 19, 2026 at 10:00 AM ET, considering only the result at the end of 90 minutes of regulation plus stoppage time; extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the actual score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Typically, prediction market odds offer a different perspective than traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks often incorporate a 'vig' or commission into their odds, which represents their profit margin, and may be influenced by promotional considerations. This market, however, reflects the collective wisdom of traders who are incentivized to accurately predict the outcome. While sportsbook odds may initially differ, they often converge with prediction market probabilities as the event approaches, as both attempt to reflect the true likelihood of each outcome. Discrepancies can arise due to differing information or analytical approaches.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism, where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in each possible exact score. The price of each share directly reflects the probability of that outcome occurring, as determined by supply and demand. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders buy shares in a particular outcome, its price increases, indicating a higher perceived probability. Conversely, selling pressure drives the price down. This dynamic pricing ensures that the market reflects the most up-to-date collective intelligence of participants.
This market resolves around Sep 19, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final score of the Chesham United FC vs. Ware FC match will be used to determine the winning outcome. The resolution will be based on the official result as reported by a recognized sports data provider. Traders will then be able to claim their winnings based on the shares they hold in the correct outcome. The market will close prior to the event's completion to prevent manipulation.
Several factors could influence trading activity in this market. Any news regarding team injuries, changes in player lineups, or tactical adjustments could shift the perceived probabilities. Unexpected weather conditions on match day might also play a role, potentially impacting the style of play and the final score. Furthermore, significant betting activity or large trades on Polymarket could create momentum and influence the market price. Public sentiment and expert analysis, while not directly reflected in the market, could also indirectly affect trader behavior.
