On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism. Traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the probability of each outcome. As more shares are traded, the price of those shares adjusts to reflect the collective sentiment. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of a 'yes' share (Cherdivar wins) or a 'no' share (Sirbu wins) represents the market's implied probability of that outcome occurring. Higher demand for a particular outcome will drive up its share price, indicating increased confidence in that result.
This market resolves around Oct 30, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The determination will be based on the official result of the Cherdivar vs. Sirbu fight as declared by the relevant boxing authorities. The platform will then verify the result against these sources to determine which outcome—a win for Cherdivar or a win for Sirbu—will be considered the correct one for settlement purposes. The resolution process ensures a fair and transparent outcome based on the official fight results.
Several factors could significantly impact this market before Oct 30, 2026. News regarding injuries to either fighter, changes in their training regimens, or even pre-fight press conference statements could all influence trader sentiment. Unexpected betting patterns in traditional sportsbooks might also cause traders to reassess their positions. Any developments that alter the perceived probability of either Cherdivar or Sirbu winning are likely to cause shifts in the odds on Polymarket. Public analysis and expert opinions on the fighters’ strengths and weaknesses could also play a role in moving the market.
