Prediction market odds often reflect a different kind of wisdom than those found at traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and incorporate a profit margin, while this market represents the collective forecast of informed traders. Often, you’ll see prediction markets move more quickly to incorporate new information and may offer different probabilities than those implied by sportsbook odds. It’s common to see discrepancies, as prediction markets can be more sensitive to nuanced factors and expert opinions.
