On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. On Polymarket, traders collectively set the price through buying and selling shares of each possible outcome. The current probability reflects the ratio of shares sold for each team, adjusted for liquidity and recent trading volume. With a volume of $1,858 behind it, the market price can shift quickly if key players are ruled in or out, or if pre-match analysis shifts sentiment dramatically.
This market resolves around Aug 22, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the match concludes and an official goal report is verified against credible public sources. The first team to find the net during regulation time determines the winner; any goals scored after a stoppage or in extra time do not count for this market.
Injuries to star forwards, weather delays affecting team strategies, or late-stage tactical announcements could all shift this market. Pre-match press conferences revealing new formations, suspension updates, or even shifting betting trends on major sportsbooks may cause traders to re-evaluate probabilities. Any last-minute team news released within 48 hours of kickoff often creates the most dramatic moves in pricing.
