In the upcoming Premier League game between Chelsea FC and Hull City AFC, scheduled for September 12, 2026 at 10:00 AM ET: This market will resolve based on the halftime score of the Chelsea FC vs. Hull City AFC match originally scheduled for September 12, 2026 at 10:00 AM ET, considering only goals scored within the first 45 minutes of regular play plus first-half stoppage time; second-half goals, extra time, and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks often set initial lines based on statistical models and expert analysis, while this market allows anyone to express their belief about the outcome. If a significant number of people believe a particular score is more likely than sportsbooks suggest, the price of shares representing that outcome will increase, potentially offering better value than available at a sportsbook. However, discrepancies can occur due to differing levels of information and market participants.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing each possible first-half exact score. The price of a share directly reflects the implied probability of that score occurring. As more traders buy shares in a particular outcome, its price increases, and vice-versa. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market’s price is driven entirely by supply and demand, representing the collective forecast of all participants regarding the first half of the Chelsea versus Hull City match.
This market resolves around Sep 12, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final score of the first half of the Chelsea versus Hull City match will be used to determine the winning shares. The resolution will be based on official data sources and will reflect the exact score at the end of the first 45 minutes of play, plus any added time. The outcome will be determined by the official result as reported by the governing football authorities.
Several signals could influence this market before resolution. Any news regarding team lineups, injuries to key players for either Chelsea or Hull City, or changes in weather conditions could all shift trader sentiment. Unexpected pre-match announcements, such as a change in formation or a tactical surprise, might also lead to price movements. Furthermore, general football news and analysis surrounding both teams’ recent performance and form could impact how traders assess the probabilities of different first-half scores.
