On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in each possible outcome. The price of a share directly corresponds to the implied probability of that outcome occurring. As more traders buy shares in a specific outcome, its price increases, and the probability of that outcome rises. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market’s price reflects the collective intelligence of all participants, dynamically adjusting as new information becomes available. This creates a fluid and responsive pricing system based on real-time demand and conviction.
This market resolves around Sep 27, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The result will be based on which team—Chelsea FC or Arsenal WFC—wins the second half of the match. The platform will verify the official result from reliable sports news sources to determine the winning outcome. Traders who hold shares in the correct outcome will be paid out according to the final market price at resolution. The outcome is determined by the official match result, not by any subjective interpretation.
Several signals could significantly impact this market. Any news regarding key player injuries or suspensions for either Chelsea FC or Arsenal WFC would likely cause a shift in the odds. Tactical changes announced by either manager, or even unexpected weather conditions on match day, could also influence trader sentiment. Major shifts in public opinion, reflected in sports news and analysis, can also move the market. Finally, large trading volume from informed traders on Polymarket could indicate new information or a change in conviction, leading to price adjustments.
