This group covers markets on the outcome of a single soccer match between Charlton Athletic FC and Queens Park Rangers FC, scheduled for September 9, 2026. Markets ask whether Charlton will win, QPR will win, or the game will end in a draw.
This event is for the upcoming EFL Championship game, scheduled for Wednesday, September 9, 2026 between Charlton Athletic FC and Queens Park Rangers FC.
The event determines the winner of the Charlton vs QPR professional EFL Championship soccer match scheduled for September 9, 2026, after 90 minutes plus stoppage time, excluding extra time or penalties. Three distinct markets resolve based on the match outcome: one for a Charlton win, one for a QPR win, and one for a tie. If the match ends in a tie after regular time, the 'Tie' market resolves to Yes. If the game is cancelled or rescheduled to more than 48 hours beyond the original date, all markets will resolve to a fair price following the platform's guidelines. The resolution strictly adheres to the full-time result, with no consideration given to post-match events such as extra time or penalty shootouts.
This market resolves to "YES" if the listed club wins after 90 minutes plus stoppage time, excluding extra time and penalty shootouts, in the match scheduled for September 9, 2026, 19:00 UTC. Otherwise, it will resolve to "NO." If the match is postponed, this market will remain open until the match has been completed. If the match is not completed as scheduled for any reason (for example, if it is abandoned, canceled, or awarded), and an official final result is recognized by the governing body or event organizers, this market will resolve based on that result. If no official final result is recognized and no make-up match is scheduled, this market will resolve "NO." Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome.
Prediction market odds, like those displayed for this market, often differ from traditional sportsbook odds due to the differing incentives and information sources involved. Sportsbooks primarily aim to set lines that balance betting volume and ensure profitability, incorporating a margin for themselves. Prediction markets, however, rely on the collective wisdom of crowds, where traders are incentivized to accurately predict the outcome. This can lead to more efficient price discovery, especially when a large volume of participants contribute to this market. While sportsbooks may initially reflect public perception, prediction markets can adjust more rapidly as new information emerges and informed traders weigh in.
