Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)
All three markets (Charlton win, draw, Ipswich win) across Polymarket and Kalshi share identical resolution logic: they resolve based on the official match result after 90 minutes plus stoppage time on April 22, 2026, with consistent handling of postponements and cancellations.
Primary resolution logic:
Official EFL (English Football League) statistics and governing body records, with fallback to credible reporting consensus if official statistics are not published within 2 hours of match conclusion.
Core resolution logic:
Market resolves YES if the specified outcome occurs (Charlton win, draw, or Ipswich win) within 90 minutes of regular play plus stoppage time.
Market resolves NO if the specified outcome does not occur (e.g., Charlton win market resolves NO if the match ends in a draw or Ipswich victory).
If the match is postponed, all markets remain open until the match is completed.
If the match is canceled with no make-up game, Charlton and Ipswich win markets resolve NO, while the draw market resolves YES.
Exactly one of the three outcome markets will resolve YES (Charlton win, draw, or Ipswich win).
Edge cases & Clarifications:
Match Postponement: If the match is postponed, all markets remain open and unresolved until the rescheduled match is completed. Resolution occurs based on the final result of the completed match.
Match Cancellation Without Makeup: If the match is canceled entirely with no makeup game scheduled, the Charlton win and Ipswich win markets resolve NO, while the draw market resolves YES.
Extra Time and Penalties Excluded: Resolution is based solely on the result after 90 minutes of regular play plus stoppage time. Extra time and penalty shootouts are not considered.
Resolution Source Timing: Primary resolution uses official EFL statistics. If official statistics are not published within 2 hours of match conclusion, credible reporting consensus may be used as fallback.
Timing:
Resolution occurs upon official announcement of the final match result by the EFL or governing body, or within 2 hours after match conclusion via credible reporting consensus if official statistics are delayed.
