A professional USL Cup soccer match between Charleston and Charlotte Ind. scheduled for July 11, 2026. The outcome is determined by the result after 90 minutes of regular play plus stoppage time, excluding any extra time or penalty shootout.
Resolution is based on the final score of the Charleston vs Charlotte Ind. professional USL Cup soccer match after 90 minutes plus stoppage time, excluding extra time or penalties. The match outcome is evaluated in three possible states: a win for Charleston, a win for Charlotte Ind., or a tie. If the match ends in a tie, the designated Tie market resolves to Yes. Should the match be cancelled or rescheduled to more than two weeks away from the original July 11, 2026 date, the market will resolve to a fair price in accordance with established rules.
Prediction market odds and sportsbook odds often diverge because they serve different purposes and attract different participant bases. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and manage risk, while prediction markets aggregate the beliefs of traders who profit by forecasting accurately. This market reflects real-money commitments from participants incentivized to be correct, which can reveal insights sportsbooks miss—especially when sharp traders spot value. Comparing the two can highlight where consensus differs and which venue may be underpricing or overpricing each team's true winning probability.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through an order-book mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing each outcome. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each share reflects the collective assessment of that outcome's likelihood, ranging from near-zero to near-100 cents. As new information emerges—roster changes, recent form, or betting action—traders adjust their bids and offers, and the market price moves to equilibrate supply and demand. This continuous repricing ensures the odds stay current and responsive to real-world developments.
This market resolves around Jul 12, 2026, once the game concludes and the result is verified against credible public sources. The outcome is determined by which team wins the matchup under standard basketball rules. Until that point, traders can buy and sell shares freely, and the market price will fluctuate based on incoming information and shifting sentiment. Resolution is final once the official result is confirmed and recorded.
Key catalysts include roster changes, injury announcements, recent team performance, and head-to-head matchup history. Line movements at major sportsbooks often precede prediction market shifts, as do updates on player availability and coaching decisions. Public betting trends and media narratives can also influence trader positioning. Additionally, any significant news about either program—conference standings, tournament implications, or off-court developments—may prompt repricing. Monitor team social media, beat reporters, and official league communications for signals that could reshape market expectations.
