On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the outcome. The price of a share directly corresponds to the implied probability of that outcome occurring. As more traders buy shares in a particular outcome, the price increases, and vice versa. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. This dynamic pricing ensures that the market reflects the aggregated beliefs of all participants. The current price reflects the collective assessment of the likelihood of each competitor winning the match.
This market resolves around Oct 4, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official result of the Josef vs. Lukas match, as determined by the governing sports authority. The platform will verify the result against established sources to ensure accuracy and transparency. Traders holding shares in the winning outcome will be entitled to a payout, while those holding shares in the losing outcome will forfeit their investment. The final result will be publicly available on Polymarket.
Several factors could influence the price of this market before Oct 4, 2026. News regarding player injuries, changes in coaching strategies, or even weather conditions could all shift expectations. Unexpected announcements about the competitors’ preparation or performance could also trigger significant price movements.
