Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd, often differing from initial sportsbook offerings. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and incorporate a profit margin, while this market allows traders to directly express their beliefs about the outcome. However, it’s also common to see convergence as more information becomes available and both markets react to news and events surrounding the Chaikovskyi vs. Pohonov match.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the outcome of the Chaikovskyi vs. Pohonov match. The price of these shares fluctuates based on supply and demand, directly reflecting the collective probability assigned to each outcome by the traders. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The more traders who believe a particular outcome will occur, the higher the price of shares representing that outcome will rise. This creates a dynamic pricing system that aims to accurately represent the perceived likelihood of each player winning.
This market resolves around Sep 19, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official result of the Chaikovskyi vs. Pohonov match as determined by the governing sporting body.
