Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)
Polymarket and Kalshi both resolve based on the official match outcome (win, loss, or draw) within 90 minutes plus stoppage time on April 11, 2026, using official Liga Portugal statistics as the primary source.
Primary resolution logic:
Official Liga Portugal statistics and governing body records
Core resolution logic:
Market resolves based on the match outcome after 90 minutes of regular play plus stoppage time (no extra time or penalties).
Three mutually exclusive outcomes are possible: Estrela Amadora win, Sporting CP win, or draw.
Polymarket's three markets (Estrela win, Sporting win, draw) will each resolve YES or NO such that exactly one resolves YES.
Kalshi's three markets (Estrela win, Sporting win, tie) will each resolve YES or NO such that exactly one resolves YES.
If the match is postponed, both platforms keep markets open until the match is completed.
If the match is canceled with no make-up game, Polymarket resolves the draw market to YES and the win markets to NO; Kalshi resolves all three markets to NO (no outcome occurs).
Edge cases & Clarifications:
Match Postponement: Both platforms keep all markets open until the match is completed. Resolution is delayed but the underlying logic remains unchanged.
Match Cancellation Without Make-Up: Polymarket treats cancellation as a draw (draw market YES, win markets NO). Kalshi treats cancellation as no outcome (all markets NO). This is a minor divergence in cancellation handling but does not affect the core resolution logic for a completed match.
Resolution Source Fallback: If official Liga Portugal statistics are not published within 2 hours of match conclusion, both platforms permit resolution via consensus of credible reporting sources.
Timing:
Resolution occurs upon official publication of the final match result by Liga Portugal or governing body, or within 2 hours after match conclusion via credible reporting consensus.
