In the upcoming Liga MX game between CF América and Atlético San Luis, scheduled for August 16, 2026 at 7:00 PM ET: This market will resolve based on the final score of the CF América vs. Atlético San Luis match originally scheduled for August 16, 2026 at 7:00 PM ET, considering only the result at the end of 90 minutes of regulation plus stoppage time; extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome.
The event resolves based on the exact scoreline of the CF America vs San Diego FC professional Leagues Cup soccer match scheduled for August 6, 2026, after 90 minutes plus stoppage time but excluding extra time or penalties. Any specific predetermined scoreline listed as a market outcome, if achieved, results in that market resolving to Yes. No other factors, such as overtime or tiebreakers, influence the resolution.
Prediction market odds on this market often differ from traditional sportsbook lines because they reflect decentralized trader sentiment rather than set operator margins. Where sportsbooks may offer a adjusted spread or over/under, traders on Polymarket and Kalshi price every exact score independently, which can create sharper or more volatile implied probabilities. This structure lets bettors compare sportsbook favorites against community-driven forecasts, potentially finding value where the two pricing models diverge.
Injuries, weather conditions, or lineup announcements can shift this market as the match approaches. Key moments like a star player being ruled out or a sudden pitch inspection due to rain may cause rapid re-pricing, especially on platforms with lower volume like Polymarket and Kalshi. Traders also watch for betting volume spikes, which often precede news, allowing quick positions before the market adjusts. Any development that alters the perceived balance between the teams can move odds dramatically in the final days.
