If the actual score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome.

Prediction market odds and traditional sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance their book and manage risk, while prediction markets aggregate the collective beliefs of traders who have real money at stake on outcomes. This market's odds represent what thousands of independent traders believe will happen, rather than a bookmaker's calculated spread. Comparing the two can reveal valuable insights: if sportsbook odds differ significantly from this market's prices, it may signal where informed traders see value or where public perception diverges from expert consensus.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through an automated market maker that adjusts odds continuously based on trader activity. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Each exact score outcome has its own contract, and the price of each reflects the probability traders assign to that result. As more traders buy or sell a particular scoreline, its price moves up or down in real time. The top outcome currently reflects strong trader conviction, but prices can shift rapidly if new information emerges about team form, player availability, or match conditions. This dynamic pricing mechanism ensures the market stays responsive to changing expectations.
This market resolves around Aug 2, 2026, once the match concludes and the final score is verified. The outcome is determined by the exact scoreline at the end of regulation time, confirmed against credible public sources covering the event. Traders holding contracts matching the verified final score receive their payout, while all other positions expire worthless. Until that moment, prices remain fluid as new developments—team announcements, weather, or betting patterns—can shift trader expectations about which exact score is most likely.
Several catalysts can shift odds significantly before the match kicks off. Team news such as injuries to key players, lineup changes, or managerial decisions often trigger sharp price moves. Recent form, head-to-head records, and home-field advantage can influence trader positioning. Weather conditions or pitch quality reported closer to match day may alter expectations about scoring patterns. Public betting trends and media narratives can also sway sentiment. Additionally, any last-minute roster updates or unexpected developments in either team's preparation could prompt traders to reassess their probability estimates for each exact scoreline, creating trading opportunities for those monitoring the market closely.
