Team news—injuries to key forwards, lineup announcements, or tactical shifts—can significantly shift odds in this market. Recent form, head-to-head history, and home-field advantage also influence trader positioning. Weather conditions on match day and pre-game betting patterns from sportsbooks may trigger repricing as new information surfaces. Late-breaking roster changes or unexpected absences can create sharp moves in the final hours before kickoff, as traders reassess which side is likelier to strike first.
