Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd, often differing from initial sportsbook offerings. Sportsbooks set lines based on statistical models and expert analysis, while this market aggregates the beliefs of many individual traders. If a significant number of traders believe a particular outcome is more likely than sportsbooks suggest, the odds on Polymarket will shift accordingly. This can lead to prediction market prices being more accurate, especially as the event approaches and more information becomes available. It's important to note that sportsbooks may adjust their odds based on market movements, creating a dynamic interplay between the two.
This market resolves around Sep 12, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the final score of the CD Nacional vs. FC Alverca match is verifiable from credible public reporting. The result will be determined by the official score reported by the governing football league or a widely recognized sports data provider. Any potential disputes regarding the official score will be resolved using publicly available and reliable sources. The platform will then verify the outcome and distribute payouts to winning traders based on their holdings.
Several factors could influence trading activity and shift the odds in this market. News regarding player injuries or suspensions for either CD Nacional or FC Alverca would likely have a significant impact. Changes in team form, tactical adjustments announced by the managers, or even weather conditions on match day could all sway traders' opinions. Unexpected announcements related to the match, such as a venue change, could also cause price fluctuations. Any information that alters the perceived probability of a specific exact score will likely be reflected in the trading volume and price movements on Polymarket.
