This event group covers the upcoming CD Nacional vs. Estoril Praia soccer match scheduled for August 16, 2026. Markets span various outcome scenarios including match winner, draw, both teams scoring, and total goals thresholds.
This event is for the upcoming Primeira Liga game, scheduled for Sunday, August 16, 2026 between CD Nacional and Estoril Praia.
The event evaluates whether the total goals scored by both Nacional and Estoril in their professional Liga Portugal soccer match exceed sequentially higher thresholds (0.5, 1.5, 2.5, 3.5, 4.5, and 5.5 goals) within the 90 minutes plus stoppage time, excluding any extra time or penalty phases. Each threshold represents a distinct market that resolves to 'Yes' if the cumulative goals surpass that specific line. All markets are independent, meaning each threshold is assessed separately, and the resolution hinges solely on the final goal count within the defined gameplay period. Kalshi explicitly disclaims any official affiliation with the governing league, and all associated trademarks remain the property of their respective owners.
This market will resolve to "YES" if both Nacional and Estoril score at least one goal each during regular time (90 minutes plus stoppage time only) in the Primeira Liga match scheduled for August 16, 2026, 14:30 UTC. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "NO." If the match is canceled after it starts, this market will resolve based on official data recorded up to that point. If the match is canceled entirely before it starts or postponed/rescheduled to a restart date later than October 16, 2026, 23:59 UTC, this market will resolve to "NO."
Prediction market odds often reflect a different outlook than traditional sportsbook lines. On Polymarket, this market prices outcomes based on trader sentiment and real-time betting activity, which can be more volatile. Sportsbooks, by contrast, incorporate broader factors such as historical performance and public betting trends, typically offering adjusted odds to manage risk. The gap between the two can reveal where crowd wisdom diverges from institutional lines, sometimes signaling undervalued opportunities.
