However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome.

Prediction market odds and sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and lock in profit margins, while prediction markets like this one are driven by trader belief and real-money risk. For exact-score markets, sportsbooks typically offer limited options with wider margins, whereas prediction markets allow traders to price granular outcomes. Comparing the two can reveal where public opinion and professional oddsmakers disagree on the most likely scoreline.
On Polymarket, traders set prices for each exact-score outcome through an automated market maker, where buying and selling pressure directly moves odds up or down. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The more capital flowing into a particular scoreline, the higher its price climbs, and vice versa. This continuous pricing mechanism means the odds you see reflect real-time consensus among active traders, updated instantly as new bets are placed and matched throughout the trading window.
This market resolves around Jul 19, 2026, once the Guadalajara versus Toluca match concludes and the final score is verified against credible public sources. The winning outcome is the exact scoreline that matches the official result reported by the league or authoritative sports databases. All other exact-score predictions expire worthless, and traders holding the correct outcome receive their proportional share of the pool.
Key catalysts include team news such as injuries to star players, lineup announcements, and recent form leading up to kickoff. Betting trends and sharp money flowing into specific scorelines can shift odds significantly. Weather conditions, venue factors, and head-to-head history may also influence trader positioning. As match day approaches, late-breaking developments like unexpected absences or tactical changes often trigger repricing, so monitoring team social media and sports news outlets helps anticipate market swings.
