In the upcoming LigaPro Primera A game between CD Cuenca and Guayaquil City FC, scheduled for September 2, 2026 at 5:30 PM ET: This market will resolve based on the final score of the CD Cuenca vs. Guayaquil City FC match originally scheduled for September 2, 2026 at 5:30 PM ET, considering only the result at the end of 90 minutes of regulation plus stoppage time; extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the actual score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome.

Prediction market odds in this market often reflect sharper insights than traditional sportsbook lines because they are driven by a broader range of engaged participants who can react quickly to new information. While sportsbooks may lag or smooth odds for broader betting appeal, prediction markets can price in nuanced shifts — such as injury updates or weather impacts — faster and more specifically.
On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. On Polymarket, traders collectively set the odds for each possible score outcome through buying and selling shares. The current top outcome reflects the combination of recent bets, public sentiment, and any new information about team performance or conditions. This dynamic process ensures that prices shift in real time to reflect the evolving expectations of participants.
This market resolves around Sep 2, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the match result is verifiable from credible public reporting. The exact final score reported by official match records will determine which outcome is settled, closing all positions based on that definitive result.
Key signals that could shift this market include major player injuries, changes to the starting lineup, weather conditions on match day, and tactical announcements from coaches. Any unexpected developments — such as a star player being ruled out or a last-minute formation change — may cause rapid re-pricing as traders adjust their expectations for the likely scoreline.
