Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)
Polymarket and Kalshi both resolve based on the official match outcome (win, loss, or draw) after 90 minutes plus stoppage time on March 28, 2026, using the same primary source (Colombian Liga DIMAYOR official statistics) and applying identical cancellation/postponement rules.
Primary resolution logic:
Official statistics from Colombian Liga DIMAYOR (dimayor.com.co) or, if unavailable within 2 hours post-match, consensus of credible reporting.
Core resolution logic:
Market resolves based on the match outcome after 90 minutes of regular play plus stoppage time (no extra time or penalties).
Three mutually exclusive outcomes: Cúcuta Deportivo FC wins (YES on Polymarket Q1, YES on Kalshi Q2), draw (YES on Polymarket Q4, YES on Kalshi Q1), or Boyacá Chicó FC wins (YES on Polymarket Q6, YES on Kalshi Q3).
If the match is postponed, all markets remain open until the match is completed.
If the match is canceled with no make-up game, Polymarket's draw market resolves YES and the win markets resolve NO; Kalshi's markets all resolve based on the cancellation outcome (draw = YES, wins = NO).
Edge cases & Clarifications:
Match Postponement: If the match is postponed beyond March 28, 2026, all markets remain open and unresolved until the match is actually played. Resolution occurs only after the rescheduled match concludes.
Match Cancellation Without Make-up: If the match is canceled entirely with no make-up game scheduled, Polymarket's draw market resolves YES (per explicit rule) while win markets resolve NO. Kalshi's draw market resolves YES and win markets resolve NO, achieving identical outcomes.
Source Timing Fallback: If Colombian Liga DIMAYOR does not publish official statistics within 2 hours after match conclusion, both platforms permit resolution based on consensus of credible reporting sources.
Timing:
Resolution occurs upon publication of official match statistics by Colombian Liga DIMAYOR within 2 hours after the match concludes on March 28, 2026, or upon consensus credible reporting if official statistics are delayed.
