CCG Esports and NRG Esports will compete in a League of Legends match in the North American Challengers League on July 22, 2026. Each market resolves based on which team wins the match.
Resolution is determined by the official result of the full match as published by the governing body or tournament organizer. If the match is postponed and not completed within 48 hours of its originally scheduled start time (July 22, 2026 at 5:00 PM EDT), the market resolves to fair market price. If the match is cancelled before play begins, the market resolves to fair market price. If the match is forfeited before any play occurs, the market resolves to fair market price. If the match begins and is subsequently forfeited, the market resolves according to the official result published by the governing body or tournament organizer.
Prediction market odds and sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and lock in profit margins, while prediction markets like this one are driven by traders risking real capital on their beliefs. Prediction markets can sometimes offer sharper, less biased estimates because participants have direct financial exposure. Comparing this market's odds to major sportsbooks can reveal where public opinion and professional oddsmakers disagree, though both sources provide valuable signals.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through a continuous order-book mechanism where traders submit bids and asks for shares representing each outcome. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each share reflects the collective willingness to buy or sell at that level, with the spread between bid and ask representing the current market friction. As new information emerges or sentiment shifts, traders adjust their orders, and the price moves accordingly. This dynamic pricing ensures the market stays responsive to new developments right up until resolution.
This market resolves around Jul 23, 2026, once the match concludes and the result is verifiable from credible public reporting. The outcome will be confirmed based on the official match result, with no ambiguity about which team won. Until that point, traders can continue to buy and sell shares as new information and analysis emerge. Resolution is final once the event is officially recorded.
Several factors could shift prices before Jul 23, 2026. Roster changes, player injuries, or roster announcements from either team can alter perceived strength. Recent tournament results, scrim outcomes, or public statements from coaches and players often influence trader sentiment. Meta shifts in the game itself, patch updates, or balance changes can favor one team's playstyle over another. Media coverage, expert analysis, and community discussion also shape expectations. As the match date approaches, any new information about preparation, form, or external circumstances typically triggers repricing across this market.
