This market covers the first-round tennis match between Casper Ruud and Hubert Hurkacz at the 2026 Wimbledon Men's Singles tournament. Traders predict the exact set score by which one player will defeat the other in this best-of-five-sets competition.
The market resolves based on the final set score of the Casper Ruud vs Hubert Hurkacz match at 2026 Wimbledon Men Singles Round Of 128. If the match does not occur due to injury, walkover, forfeiture, or cancellation before play begins, the market resolves to a fair price. If the match is postponed or delayed, the market remains open and closes after the rescheduled match concludes within two weeks. If a player retires during the match, any market that can be unconditionally settled based on completed play will resolve accordingly; markets that cannot be unconditionally settled resolve to Fair Market Price at the Exchange's discretion.
Prediction market odds and sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant pools and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set odds to balance liability and profit margins, while prediction markets are driven purely by trader supply and demand. On this market, odds may lead or lag sportsbook lines depending on which venue processes new information faster. Prediction markets can sometimes offer sharper pricing because traders risk real capital on accuracy rather than betting against a fixed spread. Comparing the two can reveal where smart money is positioning ahead of the Ruud versus Hurkacz match.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through a continuous order-book mechanism where traders submit bids and asks for shares corresponding to each possible exact score outcome. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each outcome reflects the probability traders collectively assign to that scoreline occurring. As new information emerges—player form, injury reports, or pre-match analysis—traders adjust their positions, moving prices up or down. Liquidity and trading volume determine how easily you can enter or exit a position at any given price level.
This market resolves around Jun 29, 2026, once the Ruud versus Hurkacz match concludes and the final set score is verified against credible public sources. The outcome is determined by the exact scoreline in sets—for example, 2–0, 2–1, 1–2, or 0–2—depending on the tournament format and match result. Resolution occurs after the match is officially completed and confirmed through reliable sports reporting. Your position settles based on whether the final score matches the outcome you selected when you purchased shares.
Several factors could shift odds before the match begins. Recent tournament performance, head-to-head records, and current ranking changes signal shifting expectations about player form. Injury announcements or withdrawal news would trigger sharp repricing. Court surface conditions and weather forecasts closer to match day often influence scoreline probabilities, since surface preference affects how competitive the sets may be. Pre-match commentary from analysts and betting syndicates can also move the market as new tactical insights emerge. Monitor player social media and official tournament updates for any last-minute developments affecting this market.
