The aggregated consensus probability stands at 100.0% for the leading outcome, drawing data from Kalshi and Polymarket, with resolution based on official statistics from the event organizers. Watch for the match conclusion on August 12, 2026 as the key catalyst for resolution.
This market refers to the cricket match between St. Lucia Kings and St. Kitts and Nevis Patriots scheduled for August 12 2026 in Caribbean Premier League. DLS/DRS, over-rate penalties, forfeit/walkover, or any other on-field ruling that leads the competition to declare a winner are treated as ordinary wins. If the match ends tied and the playing conditions provide an on-field tiebreak (e.g., Super Over), the winner determined by that tiebreak will be used for resolution. If the match ends tied and no on-field tiebreak is used or available under the playing conditions (e.g., group-stage ODI with no Super Over), the market will resolve 50-50. If the match is postponed/rescheduled, the market remains open until the listed fixture is completed. If the match is permanently canceled or abandoned or otherwise is completed without a winner, the market resolves 50-50. The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead.
The event resolves based on the official winner of the designated cricket match. If either team is declared the winner by the governing league, the corresponding market resolves accordingly. Should the match end in a tie, draw, no result, abandonment, cancellation, or insufficient play to determine a winner, all markets resolve to $0.50. Forfeits, disqualifications, or concessions before play begins also result in $0.50, while those occurring after play begins and leading to an official winner follow that outcome. Kalshi disclaims any affiliation with the governing league or ownership of related trademarks.
Prediction market odds on this market often reflect sharper, community-driven insights compared to traditional sportsbook lines. While sportsbooks may set prices based on broader public betting patterns and adjusted margins, platforms like Polymarket and Kalshi let traders bet directly on their outlooks, which can produce tighter spreads and prices closer to perceived true probabilities. The difference also depends on liquidity and recent trading volume on each venue.
Price gaps between Polymarket and Kalshi arise from variations in user bases, trading volume, and market design. Polymarket and Kalshi can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. For example, differing levels of participation or recent large trades can shift probabilities independently on each platform. Additionally, each venue may have distinct fee structures or exposure to specific trader groups, which influences how odds evolve for this market over time.
Injuries to key players, weather conditions affecting match play, and changes in team form can all shift this market. High-profile performances or recent head-to-head results may also influence trader sentiment. As the match date approaches, any news on line-ups or pitch conditions that impact expected outcomes will likely cause probabilities to adjust on both Polymarket and Kalshi.
