This market refers to the cricket match between St. Kitts and Nevis Patriots and St. Lucia Kings scheduled for September 3 2026 in Caribbean Premier League. DLS/DRS, over-rate penalties, forfeit/walkover, or any other on-field ruling that leads the competition to declare a winner are treated as ordinary wins. If the match ends tied and the playing conditions provide an on-field tiebreak (e.g., Super Over), the winner determined by that tiebreak will be used for resolution. If the match ends tied and no on-field tiebreak is used or available under the playing conditions (e.g., group-stage ODI with no Super Over), the market will resolve 50-50. If the match is postponed/rescheduled, the market remains open until the listed fixture is completed. If the match is permanently canceled or abandoned or otherwise is completed without a winner, the market resolves 50-50. The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead.

Often, prediction market odds reflect a different perspective than those found at traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and ensure profit, incorporating a margin for themselves. This market, however, is driven purely by the collective wisdom of traders who are incentivized to accurately predict the outcome. As a result, you may find that the implied probabilities in this market diverge from sportsbook odds, potentially offering a more accurate assessment of the true likelihood of each team winning. It’s a useful comparison to consider when forming your own opinion.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism. Traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the likelihood of a particular outcome. As more shares are purchased for a specific outcome, its price increases, reflecting growing confidence. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of a share directly corresponds to the implied probability of that outcome occurring. This dynamic pricing ensures that the market reflects the aggregate sentiment of all participants, creating a real-time forecast of the match result.
This market resolves around Sep 10, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Resolution will be based on the official result of the Caribbean Premier League match between the St. Kitts and Nevis Patriots and the St. Lucia Kings. The team declared the winner by the official league standings will determine the winning outcome in this market. Traders will be able to claim their winnings once the resolution is finalized on Polymarket.
Several factors could influence the price movement of this market. Any news regarding player injuries, changes in team lineups, or weather forecasts affecting playing conditions could significantly shift trader sentiment. Unexpected announcements about team strategies or even pre-match interviews with key players could also cause fluctuations. Furthermore, large volume trades on Polymarket itself can create momentum and drive price changes, especially if they signal a shift in informed opinion about the likely winner of the match.
