This market refers to the cricket match between Guyana Amazon Warriors and Jamaica Kingsmen scheduled for September 4 2026 in Caribbean Premier League. DLS/DRS, over-rate penalties, forfeit/walkover, or any other on-field ruling that leads the competition to declare a winner are treated as ordinary wins. If the match ends tied and the playing conditions provide an on-field tiebreak (e.g., Super Over), the winner determined by that tiebreak will be used for resolution. If the match ends tied and no on-field tiebreak is used or available under the playing conditions (e.g., group-stage ODI with no Super Over), the market will resolve 50-50. If the match is postponed/rescheduled, the market remains open until the listed fixture is completed. If the match is permanently canceled or abandoned or otherwise is completed without a winner, the market resolves 50-50. The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead.

Often, prediction market odds reflect a different perspective than those found at traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and ensure profit, while this market aggregates the wisdom of the crowd. If a significant number of informed bettors believe a sportsbook is mispricing the probability of a particular outcome, you may see discrepancies. It’s common to find that prediction markets are more accurate forecasters of event outcomes than traditional odds, particularly when there's strong public interest and active trading.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous trading mechanism where participants buy and sell shares representing their belief in the likelihood of a particular outcome. The price of these shares directly reflects the implied probability of that outcome. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market is driven by supply and demand; if more people believe the Guyana Amazon Warriors will win, the price of shares representing that outcome will increase, and vice versa. This dynamic pricing allows the market to quickly incorporate new information and adjust probabilities accordingly.
This market resolves around Sep 11, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The result will be determined by the official result of the Caribbean Premier League match between the Guyana Amazon Warriors and the Jamaica Kingsmen. The platform will verify the outcome against official sources to ensure accuracy and transparency. Traders will then be able to claim their winnings based on the final result.
Several factors could influence the price of this market before the match concludes. Any news regarding player injuries, changes in team lineups, or weather forecasts impacting playing conditions could significantly shift trader sentiment. Unexpected announcements about team strategies or key player performance could also drive movement. Furthermore, large trades by influential market participants could create short-term price fluctuations, reflecting their informed opinions on the likely outcome of the game.
