Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks often set initial lines based on statistical models and expert analysis, while this market aggregates the beliefs of many individual traders. If a significant number of traders believe a sportsbook is mispricing an outcome, they can express that view by trading in this market, potentially driving the odds in a different direction. It's common to see discrepancies, especially as new information emerges or public sentiment shifts before Sep 15, 2026.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous trading mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the likelihood of each outcome. The price of these shares directly reflects the implied probability of that outcome occurring. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market’s price adjusts dynamically based on supply and demand; if more people buy shares in a particular outcome, the price increases, and vice versa. This creates a real-time assessment of the event’s probability, driven by the collective intelligence of the traders participating in this market.
This market resolves around Sep 15, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official result of the toss in the Caribbean Premier League match between the Guyana Amazon Warriors and the Antigua And Barbuda Falcons. The platform will verify the result against publicly available sources to determine which outcome corresponds to the actual event result, and shares will be settled accordingly. Traders should monitor official announcements for the most accurate and timely information.
