This event tracks the outcome of the first half of a professional soccer match between Cardiff and Stoke. It determines whether Cardiff, Stoke, or neither team (a tie) scores more goals during the initial 45 minutes plus stoppage time of the match. The result reflects the competitive performance of each team in the opening half of play.

The event resolves based on the scoring outcome of the first half of the Cardiff vs Stoke professional EFL Championship soccer match scheduled for September 8, 2026. If Cardiff scores more goals than Stoke by the end of the first half (including stoppage time), the 'Cardiff wins 1st Half' market resolves to Yes. If Stoke scores more goals than Cardiff, the 'Stoke wins 1st Half' market resolves to Yes. If both teams score the same number of goals, or if no goals are scored, the 'Tie 1st Half' market resolves to Yes. If the match is cancelled or rescheduled to more than 48 hours beyond the original date, the markets will resolve to a fair price as determined by the event rules. The resolution depends solely on the first-half performance, independent of the full match result.
