If the match ends in a tie, the tie market resolves Yes. If the match is postponed or delayed, the market remains open and closes after the rescheduled game finishes within two weeks. If the match is cancelled and not played, or rescheduled beyond two weeks, all markets resolve to a fair price for each outcome in accordance with the rules.
Prediction market odds and sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and lock in profit margins, while prediction markets aggregate the beliefs of traders risking real capital on outcomes. This market may show higher or lower implied probabilities than traditional sports betting sites, depending on whether informed traders see value the books have missed. Comparing the two can reveal where consensus differs and highlight potential analytical edges.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through an order-book mechanism where traders submit bids and asks for shares corresponding to each possible outcome. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each share reflects the marginal trade—the last transaction executed—and moves as new orders arrive. Traders who believe an outcome is underpriced buy shares; those who think it is overpriced sell. This continuous price discovery process incorporates all available information and trader conviction, resulting in odds that update in real time as the match approaches.
This market resolves around Jun 20, 2026, once the match concludes and the result is confirmed. The outcome will be verified against credible public sources reporting the final score and winner. Until that point, prices will fluctuate as new information emerges—team news, injury updates, or betting patterns—that may shift trader expectations. Early resolution is possible if circumstances prevent the match from being played as scheduled.
Key catalysts include team news such as player injuries, lineup changes, or coaching decisions that affect competitive balance. Recent form, head-to-head records, and betting patterns from major sportsbooks can also shift trader sentiment. Weather conditions, venue factors, and any last-minute rule clarifications may influence perceived advantage. As the match date approaches, increased media coverage and expert analysis often drive trading volume and price adjustments. Unexpected developments—such as a key player's availability status—can trigger sharp moves in either direction.
