PredictionHero - Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA)

Divergence Detected

Issue: Fundamental mismatch in settlement criteria: Polymarket resolves based on the specific match outcome between Faria and O'Connell, while Kalshi resolves based on whether any of 34 listed players win the entire ATP Montreal tournament.Hero tip: Do not treat these markets as correlated. Polymarket resolves based solely on the Faria vs O'Connell match result, while Kalshi resolves based on the tournament winner from a predefined list of players. Focus on Polymarket for match-specific predictions.

Critical divergence points:

  • Polymarket: Resolves to 'Jaime Faria' if he advances, 'Christopher O'Connell' if he advances, 50-50 for cancellations/walkovers, and 'No' for incomplete matches or forfeits. Primary source: ATP Tour official information.
  • Kalshi: Resolves to Yes if any of 34 listed players (none of whom are Faria or O'Connell) win the 2026 ATP Montreal tournament. This is entirely unrelated to the Faria vs O'Connell match outcome.
Our PredictionHero Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA) are there to help users identify potential differences across platforms. They do not replace or supersede the official rules and description of any prediction market. Users are solely responsible for reviewing and understanding the applicable rules and resolution criteria before placing any trade or bet. If you notice a potential inconsistency, discrepancy, or error in an alert, please report it to our team so we can review and improve the accuracy of our data.
