Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Prediction market odds, like those found for this market, often reflect the wisdom of the crowd, potentially offering a different perspective than traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and aim to balance action on both sides, while prediction markets allow participants to freely express their beliefs. This can lead to discrepancies, especially when public sentiment strongly diverges from expert opinion. The efficiency of prediction markets means they can sometimes provide more accurate forecasts, though sportsbook odds remain a valuable benchmark for comparison.
Polymarket and Predict can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. Differences in pricing between Polymarket and Predict for the Canada vs. Chile second half can arise from several factors. Each platform attracts a different user base with varying risk appetites and predictive insights. Trading volume also plays a role; higher volume on one platform can lead to more efficient price discovery. Furthermore, the specific mechanisms for setting odds – how traders interact with the market – differ between Polymarket and Predict, contributing to potential price discrepancies. These variations are a natural part of a decentralized prediction market ecosystem.
Several factors could influence the price of this market before it resolves. Any news regarding team lineups, injuries to key players, or changes in weather conditions could shift expectations and impact trading activity. Unexpected in-game events during the first half, such as red cards or significant scoring plays, could also trigger price movements. Overall game momentum and public perception, amplified by social media, can also play a role in shaping the market's trajectory. Monitoring these signals will be crucial for traders looking to capitalize on potential opportunities.
