This market will resolve to "YES" if Canada wins by 2 or more goals against Rep. Of Ireland during regular time (90 minutes plus stoppage time only) in the Friendlies match scheduled for June 5, 2026, 23:30 UTC. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "NO." If the match is canceled after it starts, this market will resolve based on official data recorded up to that point. If the match is canceled entirely before it starts or postponed/rescheduled to a restart date later than August 5, 2026, 23:59 UTC, this market will resolve to "NO."
This market resolves on Jun 6, 2026, after the Canada vs. Republic of Ireland match concludes. Resolution is determined by the final score: if Canada wins by exactly 2 goals or more, the outcome resolves affirmatively; any other result—including a Canadian win by 1 goal, a draw, or an Irish victory—resolves negatively. Official match records from the governing football authority establish the final scoreline used for settlement.
Key catalysts include team news such as injuries to star players, lineup announcements, and recent form in qualifying or friendlies. Weather conditions on match day—wind, rain, or pitch state—can affect scoring patterns and defensive stability. Head-to-head history and tactical adjustments by either coach may shift trader expectations about goal margin. Public betting trends, analyst forecasts, and late-breaking developments like roster changes or coaching decisions can trigger rapid repricing. As match day approaches, odds typically tighten and volatility may increase.
