On Kalshi and Polymarket, traders set prices independently, so each venue can develop its own bias based on user demographics and liquidity. Polymarket and Kalshi can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. This can lead to noticeable gaps, especially when one platform has deeper volume or a recent influx of sentiment-driven trades. The differing structures and fee models also influence how quickly prices adjust to new information.
