PredictionHero - Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA)

Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)

Both platforms resolve based on the official match outcome from Liquipedia, with identical handling of cancellations, delays, and incomplete matches.Primary resolution logic: Liquipedia.net/callofduty/Main_Page; credible reporting and video evidence if Liquipedia does not publish within 2 hours of event conclusion

Core resolution logic:

  • Match winner resolves to the team winning the best-of-five series
  • Individual game winners (Games 1-4) resolve based on the winner of that specific game if played and completed
  • Games total O/U 4.5 resolves Over if 5+ games are played, Under if fewer than 5 games are played
  • Games total O/U 3.5 resolves Over if 4+ games are played, Under if fewer than 4 games are played
  • Games won by forfeit, disqualification, walkover, or default count toward the total if the match is completed
  • If the match is canceled, not played at all, ends in a tie, or delayed beyond 7 days without play beginning, all markets resolve 50-50
  • If the match begins but is not completed, individual game markets resolve 50-50 unless that specific game has a determined winner
  • If the entire match ends due to forfeit/disqualification/walkover before play, the match winner market resolves 50-50; if one team clinches via opponent forfeit during play, the match winner resolves to the clinching team
  • If the clinching game is forfeited, this counts as a completed match and resolves accordingly

Edge cases & clarifications:

  • Incomplete Match with Partial Games: If the match begins but does not complete (e.g., series stopped at 2-1), individual game markets resolve based on completed games only; games total markets resolve 50-50 unless the series outcome is deterministic (e.g., one team has already clinched)
  • Forfeit During Series: If a team forfeits during the series after games have been played, the clinching team wins the match; games total counts games actually played before the forfeit
  • Forfeit Before Series Begins: If the entire match is forfeited/disqualified/walkover before any play, the match winner market resolves 50-50; games total markets resolve 50-50
  • Liquipedia Delay: If Liquipedia does not publish results within 2 hours of event conclusion, resolution uses consensus of credible reporting and video evidence
  • 7-Day Delay Rule: If the match is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date (June 14, 2026) without play beginning, all markets resolve 50-50
Timing: Resolution occurs upon official publication by Liquipedia or within 2 hours after the match concludes, whichever is first; if neither occurs within 2 hours, credible reporting consensus is used; if the match is delayed beyond 7 days without play, resolution is immediate to 50-50Our PredictionHero Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA) are there to help users identify potential differences across platforms. They do not replace or supersede the official rules and description of any prediction market. Users are solely responsible for reviewing and understanding the applicable rules and resolution criteria before placing any trade or bet. If you notice a potential inconsistency, discrepancy, or error in an alert, please report it to our team so we can review and improve the accuracy of our data.

The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://liquipedia.net/callofduty/Main_Page. However, if https://liquipedia.net/callofduty/Main_Page has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Frequently asked questions

Prediction markets like Polymarket and Kalshi operate on peer-to-peer order books where traders directly set prices, whereas traditional sportsbooks employ oddsmakers and margin-based pricing. Prediction market odds often reflect sharper, more granular probability estimates because they aggregate dispersed information from many participants with real financial stakes. Sportsbooks typically build in wider margins and may lag behind market-moving news. For esports events like this one, prediction markets can offer tighter lines and faster price discovery than conventional betting venues.

On Polymarket, traders buy and sell outcome shares on a continuous order book, while Kalshi uses a different market microstructure and user base. Polymarket and Kalshi can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. Differences in liquidity, user demographics, fee structures, and order flow timing can cause temporary price divergence. Polymarket's larger volume in esports markets may lead to faster price adjustment to new information, whereas Kalshi's smaller participant pool on this specific event could result in wider spreads and slower repricing. Arbitrage opportunities between platforms typically narrow as traders exploit pricing gaps.

Pre-match roster announcements, player substitutions, or injury reports could shift trader sentiment significantly. Recent tournament performance by either team, map pool strengths, and head-to-head records influence perceived win probability. Betting action from sharp bettors on other platforms may cascade into prediction markets. Streaming commentary and community sentiment during the broadcast can accelerate mid-series repricing if one team establishes dominance early. Any unexpected roster changes or technical issues during the event would also trigger immediate market movement.
