This market refers to the Call of Duty match between Paris Gentle Mates and FaZe Vegas in the Call of Duty League Stage 4 Major Qualifiers Qualifier, initially scheduled for June 12 at 4:30PM ET. This market will resolve to "Paris Gentle Mates" if Paris Gentle Mates win the match against FaZe Vegas. This market will resolve to "FaZe Vegas" if FaZe Vegas win the match against Paris Gentle Mates. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://liquipedia.net/callofduty/Main_Page. However, if https://liquipedia.net/callofduty/Main_Page has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Prediction market odds and sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and lock in profit margins, while prediction markets aggregate trader beliefs through continuous price discovery. This market may show different implied probabilities than traditional sports betting sites, sometimes offering sharper or more contrarian assessments depending on which venue has attracted deeper analysis. Comparing the two can reveal where informed traders see value relative to conventional oddsmakers.
On Polymarket, traders set prices by buying and selling outcome shares in an automated market maker system. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each share reflects the collective belief about that outcome's likelihood, with shares trading between 0 and 100 cents. As new information emerges or sentiment shifts, traders adjust their positions, moving prices in real time. Higher prices indicate stronger confidence in that outcome, while lower prices suggest skepticism or lower perceived probability among active participants.
This market resolves around Jun 13, 2026, once the match concludes and the result is verifiable from credible public reporting. The outcome will be confirmed based on which team wins the best-of-five series. Until that point, traders can continue to adjust positions as the event unfolds and new developments emerge. Resolution typically occurs shortly after the final game is played and the winner is officially announced.
Several factors may shift trader sentiment before resolution. Team roster changes, player injuries, or roster announcements could alter perceived competitive balance. Recent tournament performance, head-to-head records, and scrim results often influence market pricing. Pre-match interviews, coaching changes, or strategic adjustments may also trigger repricing. Additionally, broader esports news—such as sponsorship deals or organizational changes—can affect confidence in either team. Real-time match developments, including early game outcomes if trading remains open during play, will likely drive the most dramatic price movements.
