PredictionHero - Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA)

Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)

Both platforms resolve to the same match outcome (Los Angeles Thieves or G2 Minnesota winner) using identical primary source (Liquipedia) and consistent edge-case logic for cancellations, delays, and forfeits.Primary resolution logic: Official Liquipedia Call of Duty League page (https://liquipedia.net/callofduty/Main_Page); credible reporting consensus with video evidence if Liquipedia does not publish within 2 hours of event conclusion.

Core resolution logic:

  • Match resolves to the team that wins the best-of-5 series (first to 3 games).
  • Individual game markets (Games 1-4) resolve based on the winner of that specific game if played; 50-50 if game is not completed.
  • Games Total O/U 3.5 resolves Over if 4+ games are played, Under if fewer than 4 games are played.
  • Games Total O/U 4.5 resolves Over if 5 games are played, Under if fewer than 5 games are played.
  • Games won by forfeit, disqualification, walkover, or default count toward the total if the match is completed.
  • If match begins but is not completed and one team wins via opponent forfeiture/disqualification/walkover during play, the winning team is awarded the match; series-level markets resolve to that team.
  • If match ends due to clinching game being forfeited, this counts as a completed match.

Edge cases & clarifications:

  • Match Cancellation or No Play: If the match is canceled entirely or delayed beyond 7 days from June 13, 2026 without play beginning, all markets resolve 50-50.
  • Pre-Match Forfeit: If one team forfeits, is disqualified, or walks over before the match starts, the series-level market resolves 50-50; individual game markets also resolve 50-50.
  • Incomplete Game: If a specific game (1-4) is not completed for any reason, that game's market resolves 50-50. The series may still continue and resolve normally if other games are completed.
  • Incomplete Series with In-Play Forfeit: If the match begins but is not completed and one team wins due to opponent forfeiture/disqualification/walkover during play, the series resolves to the winning team; Games Total markets resolve 50-50.
  • Tie or Draw: If the match ends in a tie (not applicable in BO5 format, but if it occurs), all markets resolve 50-50.
Timing: Resolution occurs within 2 hours after the match concludes on or after June 13, 2026 at 7:30 PM ET, based on Liquipedia publication. If Liquipedia does not publish within 2 hours, credible reporting consensus is used. Markets remain open until official resolution is published. Our PredictionHero Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA) are there to help users identify potential differences across platforms. They do not replace or supersede the official rules and description of any prediction market. Users are solely responsible for reviewing and understanding the applicable rules and resolution criteria before placing any trade or bet. If you notice a potential inconsistency, discrepancy, or error in an alert, please report it to our team so we can review and improve the accuracy of our data.

Polymarket

This market refers to the Call of Duty match between Los Angeles Thieves and G2 Minnesota in the Call of Duty League Stage 4 Major Qualifiers Qualifier, initially scheduled for June 13 at 7:30PM ET. This market will resolve to "Los Angeles Thieves" if Los Angeles Thieves win the match against G2 Minnesota. This market will resolve to "G2 Minnesota" if G2 Minnesota win the match against Los Angeles Thieves. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://liquipedia.net/callofduty/Main_Page. However, if https://liquipedia.net/callofduty/Main_Page has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Frequently asked questions

Prediction markets and sportsbooks price events differently because they operate under distinct incentive structures. Sportsbooks set odds to balance liability and extract a margin, often adjusting for sharp action and public sentiment. Prediction markets, by contrast, rely on trader consensus—participants buy and sell shares directly, so prices reflect aggregate belief without a built-in house edge. This market may show tighter spreads or faster reaction times to breaking news than traditional sportsbooks, though liquidity and depth vary by platform. Both sources are valuable; comparing them helps you identify mispricings and refine your own forecast.

Polymarket and Kalshi can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. Platform design, user base, and regulatory framework shape how each exchange prices the same event. Polymarket uses an automated market maker model, which can amplify volatility and reflect smaller trader populations, while Kalshi employs order-book mechanics that may attract institutional flow. Liquidity imbalances, time-zone trading patterns, and differences in how each platform's community interprets team form or recent results can widen the spread. These gaps typically narrow as the match date approaches and information becomes more concrete, but they create real opportunities for traders monitoring both venues.
