This market refers to the Call of Duty Upper bracket quarterfinal 1 match between Los Angeles Thieves and Carolina Royal Ravens in the Call of Duty League Stage 4 Major Playoffs, initially scheduled for June 26 at 9:30AM ET. This market will resolve to "Los Angeles Thieves" if Los Angeles Thieves win the match against Carolina Royal Ravens. This market will resolve to "Carolina Royal Ravens" if Carolina Royal Ravens win the match against Los Angeles Thieves. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://liquipedia.net/callofduty/Main_Page. However, if https://liquipedia.net/callofduty/Main_Page has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Prediction market odds and sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and lock in profit margins, while prediction markets like this one are driven purely by trader consensus—no house edge. Traders here have direct financial exposure to accuracy, which can surface insights that traditional oddsmakers miss. However, sportsbooks employ dedicated analysts and may react faster to breaking news. Comparing this market's odds to major sportsbook lines can reveal where the crowd sees value or where sharp money may be positioning ahead of the event.
This market resolves around Jun 26, 2026, once the best-of-five series concludes and the winner is verifiable from credible public reporting. The outcome is determined by which team advances or wins the playoff matchup, as confirmed through official Call of Duty League channels and tournament records. Resolution occurs shortly after the final game is played and results are officially announced. Until that point, prices on this market will fluctuate based on pre-match analysis, team form, and any roster or format updates communicated by the league.
Several catalysts could shift odds before the series begins. Roster announcements or player substitutions for either team would likely trigger repricing, as would injury reports or unexpected roster changes. Recent tournament results and head-to-head records between the teams serve as key reference points for traders. Expert analysis and community discussion on esports forums can sway sentiment, especially if respected analysts highlight strategic advantages or weaknesses. Scrim results or practice footage leaks sometimes influence trader positioning. Additionally, any official league communications about format changes, map pools, or scheduling could move this market as traders adjust their forecasts based on new information.
