In the upcoming Serie A game between Cagliari Calcio and US Lecce, scheduled for September 7, 2026 at 12:30 PM ET: This market will resolve based on the halftime score of the Cagliari Calcio vs. US Lecce match originally scheduled for September 7, 2026 at 12:30 PM ET, considering only goals scored within the first 45 minutes of regular play plus first-half stoppage time; second-half goals, extra time, and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the actual halftime score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Generally, prediction market odds often reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and to balance action, while this market is driven by individuals willing to put their capital behind their beliefs. If a significant number of traders believe a particular outcome is more likely than implied by sportsbook odds, the price in this market will adjust accordingly. It’s common to see discrepancies, especially when public perception diverges from expert analysis, or when there’s strong fan bias towards a particular team.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism. Traders buy and sell shares representing different possible first-half exact scores for the Cagliari vs. Lecce match. The price of each share reflects the probability of that score occurring, as perceived by the market participants. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate and new information becomes available, the prices dynamically adjust, providing a real-time assessment of the likelihood of each outcome. The market’s efficiency depends on the volume of trading and the diversity of opinions represented among the traders.
This market resolves around Sep 7, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official first half exact score reported by the governing football league. Any potential delays in official reporting could slightly postpone the resolution, but the process will be completed as soon as reliable data is available. Traders holding shares in the winning outcome will be paid out according to the final market price at resolution.
Several factors could influence the price of this market before the end of trading. Late-breaking news regarding player injuries or suspensions for either Cagliari or Lecce would likely have a significant impact. Changes in weather conditions, particularly if they favor one team’s playing style, could also shift the odds. Even public sentiment, reflected in social media discussions and expert analysis, can contribute to price movements as traders react to new information and adjust their positions. Any unexpected developments leading up to kickoff have the potential to move this market.
