Frequently asked questions

On Limitless, the Cache vs Anubis map frequency market dashboard tracks whether Cache will be played more often than Anubis during the BLAST Bounty S2 online stage. The dashboard displays real-time odds, historical price movements, and current trading volume for this matchup. The interface provides a transparent view of market sentiment and allows participants to monitor how odds shift as new information about team strategies and map preferences emerges.

Prediction market odds and sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different pricing mechanisms. Sportsbooks set odds to balance liability and profit margins, while prediction markets derive prices from real-time trader consensus. This market aggregates the collective judgment of esports analysts and bettors on map frequency, which may differ from traditional sportsbook lines. Prediction markets tend to be more reactive to emerging team form and strategic shifts, whereas sportsbooks may adjust more slowly. Comparing the two can reveal where the crowd sees value relative to established betting venues.

On Limitless, this market is priced through continuous order-book matching, where traders submit bids and asks to buy or sell shares representing each outcome. On Limitless, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each outcome reflects the marginal trade—the last executed transaction—and converges toward the true probability as more volume flows in. Traders can enter or exit positions at any time before the market closes, and the platform's matching engine ensures transparent price discovery. Wider bid-ask spreads typically indicate lower confidence or liquidity, while tighter spreads suggest strong consensus on the likelihood of Cache being played more than Anubis.

This market resolves around Jul 26, 2026, once the BLAST Bounty S2 online stage concludes and final map play data is available. The outcome is determined by comparing the total number of times Cache was selected or played against the total for Anubis across all matches in the online stage. Verification occurs through credible public sources, including official tournament records and broadcast data. Once the event is confirmed and the map frequencies are finalized, the market settles in favor of whichever map was played more often during the specified period.

Several factors can shift odds in this market before resolution. Team roster changes, coaching adjustments, or public statements about map strategy can signal shifting preferences toward Cache or Anubis. Tournament results from warm-up matches or earlier stages may reveal which map teams are prioritizing in bans and selections. Patch updates or balance changes to the game itself could alter the competitive viability of either map. Additionally, injury news, visa delays, or other logistical disruptions affecting specific teams can influence their map pool strategy. Real-time match outcomes during the online stage will continuously update trader expectations about final map frequency.
